every winter i gaze

2026-06-10

every winter, i gaze, my cold face misses the sun rays, then summer arrives, small plants get huge, ants work like, crazy, you're up as the sun is, high as it is, bright and fiery. but you know winter is promised. so the winter comes. summer seems impossible, everything is cold and bleak, you forget to speak, forget to utter the words emerging from the fire, but then one day it gets hot. and it gets hotter from there sky with a yellow glare to get back cold again colder than before summer warms so winter doesn't kill

how do you want to read?

poems can unravel themselves as you read, line by line, at a considered pace — or just sit there, fully visible, like normal.

change this anytime — look for “reading: …” near the top of any poem.
