i was painting

i painted a picture so vivid
bled my blood so livid
ever since i've been so timid
i flick it, it doesn't burn
its stone leaves no place to turn
i yearn, don't know my place
i can no longer see my face
how do you want to read?
poems can unravel themselves as you read, line by line, at a considered pace — or just sit there, fully visible, like normal.
change this anytime — look for “reading: …” near the top of any poem.
