is the shooting stars
the shots traversing from left to right
is that why my hands are nailed
my arms are spread
is it me observing that makes you hate me
not firing up stars
but watching them

do i make you realize you are in the cycle
do you hate me for not being in it
is your hatred for me a reflection of your hatred for the gods
i was simply an observer
i guess that’s what god is
yet i never wanted to be the one
to be one
yet you made me
one

sit with me
let it all go
watch
until it’s the shooting stars
and not shooting stars

they can’t crucify me if you’re with me
yet i can’t be sure what’s to come
if we’re all gods
for better
we’ll be together

let the gods kill me
