moon makes me cry

we always talk, moon and i

never in prayer, always face to face

well i guess one could call searching something in its absence prayer

i would

i see its many faces

all prettier than others

i see its many phases

all prettier than others

i can see what obscures the entirety of it when i look at it

i can see earth back

i’ve no idea what i’m talking about
