this whole deal seems so weird
2025-02-21
what was the whole deal with this ordeal?
unclenched hands looking for another meal?
and i ran,
ran with a heart ripped in my rib cage,
caged in my rip cage,
rip to my heart in my rib cage.
i,
i ran from a graveyard,
became gravely ill.
the tolling bells so still,
the ease i deemed to feel,
was the pain,
ever real?
this whole deal seems so weird.
how do you want to read?
poems can unravel themselves as you read, line by line, at a considered pace — or just sit there, fully visible, like normal.
change this anytime — look for “reading: …” near the top of any poem.
