eye was teary, i forgot
2026-10-13
i forgot.
all the things i wrought,
didn't match what tomorrow required.
wrecked i am i was,
the land i cultivated, such a pity i'm called elsewhere,
who's gonna take care of it when it rains?
i guess the rain'll water when i can't,
and my tears, do i also rain?
i ran, stopped, here,
today i'm not stoked,
i ask the warmth stocked in my body to warm me,
degrees drop, weather warns me.
this winter, another dostoyevsky winter?
i'm not in russia but russian shit gets here,
shit i'm not even here
today the rack has no face for me to wear
and today i can't recognize the no face on my face
as it's not touched by
one is zero without another one
i? what i am if eye can't see how you feel around me,
mirror? i see all that's wrong, still water? it still moves,
so all that's stagnant moves along with it.
eye was teary, i forgot.
how do you want to read?
poems can unravel themselves as you read, line by line, at a considered pace — or just sit there, fully visible, like normal.
change this anytime — look for “reading: …” near the top of any poem.
